We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team, who will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and support the development of our gastroenterology services.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, including gastroenterology registrars, clinical fellows, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of gastrointestinal conditions.
The hospital has invested heavily in state-of-the-art endoscopic equipment, including ERCP/cholangioscopy, EUS, and advanced/large polyp services, and offers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's teaching and training programs, as well as participate in quality improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology, with experience in endoscopy and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including endoscopy and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Contribute to the development of our gastroenterology services, including quality improvement initiatives and teaching and training programs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- MRCP qualification
- GMC registration with a specialty in gastroenterology
- Experience in endoscopy and a strong background in gastroenterology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
