Job Title: Revenue Accountant - Billings and Collections Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accountant - Billings and Collections Specialist to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, overseeing the billing process, and developing strategies to improve cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the billing process for buyside invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and approve invoices in the monthly billing run, ensuring compliance with company policies and client agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and optimize collections strategies.
  • Manage the collections team, tracking outstanding accounts and initiating collection efforts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce overdue accounts and improve cash flow.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal billing queries and assist collections with client queries.
  • Lead and mentor the billing and collections team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant is preferred, preferably with experience within the financial services industry.
  • Experience with month-end close processes, SOX compliance, and external reporting is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of billing and collections processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Oracle Billing & AR systems.
  • Capital Markets knowledge is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
