LHH Recruitment is pleased to collaborate with a leading independent firm in Exeter, seeking an experienced Audit Senior who can provide exceptional leadership skills. The ideal candidate will oversee on-site audit teams, mentor junior members, and handle a diverse client portfolio.
In this position, you will plan and execute statutory audits for corporate clients, both in the office and at their locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing audit assignments, supporting the audit manager, and ensuring timely completion.
- Preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups.
- Preparing accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations.
- Developing management accounts.
The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills in audit, accounting, and tax software, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. Relevant qualifications include ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
The role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including flexible working culture, pension, and opportunities for progression.
