Wood Machinist Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Wood Machinist to operate our 3 Axis Casadei Busellato machine in a modern and clean workshop environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, enjoy stability, and contribute to the success of our team.

• Operate and set up CNC machinery: The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up our CNC machines to fabricate parts with precision and accuracy.
• Assist with wood preparation tasks and finishing: You will assist with preparing wood for fabrication, including sanding, cutting, and finishing.
• Operate power tools and woodworking machinery: You will be required to operate various power tools and woodworking machinery, such as routers, saws, and sanders.
• Assist with pre-install assembly works: In this role, you will assist with pre-install assembly works, including assembling components and preparing them for installation.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and organized workshop is essential, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the workspace remains tidy and free from hazards.
• Perform general woodworking workshop duties: You will be expected to perform general woodworking workshop duties, including assisting with other tasks and projects as needed.

• 3 Axis CNC machinery experience: We require candidates with experience operating 3 Axis CNC machinery, preferably with Casadei Busellato equipment.
• Experience with cutting lists: You should have experience creating cutting lists for woodworking projects.
• Eye for detail and inspection/QC experience: A keen eye for detail and previous experience with quality control (QC) are essential for this role.
• Previous joinery/carpentry experience: While not mandatory, previous experience in joinery or carpentry can be beneficial.

Our company offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
