Are you a culinary expert looking for a challenging role in the Defence sector? ESS, a leading food service company in the UK, is recruiting an ambitious Executive Chef to join their team on a full-time basis.

As an Executive Chef at ESS, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets our customers' expectations
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and implementing changes accordingly
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing ESS and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked and ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards and compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a flexible approach to working hours and opportunities for career progression.

If you are passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, have experience supervising a team, and hold a Food Hygiene certificate, we would love to hear from you
