Nuclear Safety Engineer - Submarine Build Programme
About the Role:
BAE Systems is currently seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our Site Safety Case Team in Barrow-in-Furness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective safety case capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a senior SME for safety case development.
- Representing the company at internal/external meetings associated with safety and regulation of nuclear sites as necessary.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Degree in STEM subject (or equivalent experience).
- UK nuclear legislation, nuclear industry, site licensing, authorisation, and environmental permitting and associated industry guidance.
Benefits:
