Quality Assurance Role

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £44,000-£46,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in a permanent capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and input data for regular management review meetings, including investigation of quality issues.
  2. Conduct shop floor audits and sample inspections as required by the Quality Manager.
  3. Collate material compliance data and prepare reports as necessary.
  4. Drive down rejects, eliminate system errors, and reduce overall quality costs.
  5. Monitor output, quality, and scrap rates to improve OTD performance.

Requirements:

  1. HNC qualified or experience working in a machine shop environment.
  2. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Aerospace or Automotive experience is beneficial.
  4. CMM experience is desirable but can be trained.
  5. A self-motivated individual with a right-first-time approach.
  6. Ability to work calmly under pressure.
