Lead Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for managing the clinical case loads and supporting the practice manager from an operational perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clinical case loads and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time
  • Support the practice manager in operational decision-making and provide guidance to less confident staff
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and profitability

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical skills and experience as a Veterinary Surgeon
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
