Transformative Procurement Leader

We are seeking an exceptional Procurement Strategy Director to join our dynamic team at EG Group.

About the Role

This is a critical leadership position that requires a seasoned procurement professional with a proven track record of driving transformation and innovation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a world-class procurement strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global markets, supply chains, and trends, as well as expertise in leading cross-functional teams, negotiating contracts, and managing budgets.

About the Job

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that drives cost savings, improves efficiency, and enhances supplier relationships.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contracts and manage contract compliance.
  • Monitor and manage the procurement budget to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to ensure compliance and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) qualification or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and leading a procurement function in a large organization.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
