We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a laser technician. The role is ideal for candidates looking to develop their skills in CNC machines, including Laserscript software, and manufacturing using acrylic components.

The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training, covering the use of CNC machines, production drawings, and quality control awareness.

Work will be based at our manufacturing facility, with free car parking available. Candidates must make their own travel arrangements to attend work at this location, which is easily accessible by main bus routes.

The company operates a shift pattern requiring alternate periods of early starts and late finishes Monday to Thursday, and Fridays.

There may be opportunities for overtime, including Saturday mornings until lunch, paid at time and a half.

Candidates must have good numeracy and literacy skills, possess basic educational standards, and have a good standard of health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with CNC machines
  • Fabrication of various sign structures using acrylic components
  • Quality control awareness
  • Organising jobs and managing associated paperwork

Training and Development:

  • Comprehensive training provided, including H&S and working systems
  • Opportunity to complete a Level 2 NVQ in Signmaking

Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum (approximate)
