About the Position

The successful candidate will provide expert analysis on rare earth demand and supply, as well as monitoring developments in the rare earths sector. This role involves working closely with colleagues in other research sector groups to shape the company's integrated view, and establishing and maintaining contacts with mining industry stakeholders to acquire proprietary data and knowledge.

This is a senior-level position that requires solid analytical capabilities and knowledge of the rare earths market. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to commercial excellence and meeting the high-quality standards expected by our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide insightful market analysis on rare earth demand and supply for short and long-term reports
  • Produce original market analysis with a culmination in client deliverables and industry thought leadership pieces
  • Monitor developments in the rare earths sector providing analysis on industry developments
  • Help shape our rare earths analysis and work with our consultancy business on periodic projects
  • Work closely with colleagues in other research sector groups to help shape the company's integrated view
  • Establish and maintain contacts with mining industry stakeholders to acquire proprietary data and knowledge
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with industry contacts and research clients, including presentations to clients via various deliverables, necessitating international travel

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and planning skills plus ability to manage own workload
  • A willingness to travel to other company and client offices, and undertake industry site visits
  • A strong commitment to commercial excellence and meeting the high-quality standards expected by our clients

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
