Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a highly regarded secondary school in Barnet. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEND and SEMH needs, and be able to provide high-quality support to pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs
- Work closely with the inclusion team, teachers, and SLT to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Facilitate the differentiation of tasks for students and provide additional support as needed
- Engage with specialists regularly to stay up-to-date on best practices and strategies for supporting pupils with SEND
