Senior Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Engineer to join our Flood and Water Management team at our London office. As a leading multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy, Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is passionate about creating innovative, sustainable, and safe places. Our forward-thinking management team works together in multi-disciplinary teams to provide considered and sustainable services and solutions. Our integrated design approach produces award-winning results that have gained international recognition. This is a full-time permanent role, with a flexible working arrangement of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

The Position & Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and agree drainage strategies
  • Model and review existing drainage networks
  • Conduct flood risk assessments and determine effective solutions
  • Experience in attenuation and pollution controls
  • Experience in SuDs design from concept through to implementation
  • Drainage detail design
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Seek to add value on all works and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure quality control
  • Assist in the estimation of works costs and bidding of new works

Person Specification
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status of appropriate professional body
  • Demonstrable experienced drainage engineering in both local authority and private sector
  • Wide range of skills and projects including attenuation, SuDs and public realm
  • Experience of working in London and with TfL
  • Experience and knowledge within highways, public realm and the civil engineering industry
