About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Hospitality and Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Loveday & Co Enterprise. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for supporting both the front of house Hospitality team and Kitchen in the delivery of daily service.
Main Responsibilities
- To receive, check and distribute/unpack deliveries as and when required.
- To assist kitchen assistants with cleaning, dish and pot wash.
- To support the chefs and kitchen assistants with general kitchen duties.
- To clear dirty dishes from lounges and dining room.
- To distribute clean dishes throughout the lounges and dining room.
- To support with the general cleaning of the kitchens.
Hospitality Focus
- Monitor all floors, lounges and ensure that dirty crockery and glassware is returned to the kitchen.
- Prepare mise-en-place and make sure all cutlery, plates and glassware are polished.
- To stock and fold napkins.
- Set up tables, trays and trolleys according to the Loveday & Co Dining Standards.
- Ensure that all floor lounges areas are always fully stocked with refreshments and crockery.
- Ensure that all coffee machines are maintained and functional.
- Maintain all stock levels of consumables i.e. teas, coffees, sugars, disposables, drinks (with the support of the Hospitality Team) and ensure stock room is kept tidy.
General
- To take an active interest in all members and ensure that they are looked after in accordance with their individual needs.
- To attend all training sessions as required by the business.
- To carry out all online training within the set timelines.
- To adhere and comply to all Health and Safety procedures.
- Provide support to other departments as required by the business.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be punctual, hardworking and quick to learn, with a high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality and a positive work ethic is ideal for this role as well as good physical stamina & mobility.
