Electrical Engineer - Project Execution

Wood is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Staines. As a key member of our Projects business unit, you will be responsible for delivering electrical engineering solutions for high-complexity projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze design packages for electrical systems and equipment
  • Prepare project design basis documents and load lists
  • Produce technical reports and specifications for electrical equipment
  • Assist in electrical activities during the Front-End Engineering Development (FEED) and design phase
  • Coordinate with project managers to finalize electrical engineering scope

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Extensive experience in design, engineering, and construction
  • Familiarity with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and other international electrical standards
  • Proficiency in analogue and digital control systems, including Power System Automation (PSA), DCS, PLC, and SCADA controls
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
