PPA Cover Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and flexible PPA Cover Teacher to join a friendly and supportive SEN Primary school in Southwark. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to cover classes across the school, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will play an essential role in maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment for pupils, across a variety of year groups.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach classes across the school, covering teacher absences
Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment for pupils
Adapt to different year groups and teaching styles

Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a primary school
Strong classroom management skills and a confident, proactive approach to teaching
Passion for supporting children's learning and a commitment to helping them achieve their best
Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references related to your teaching experience
