About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Colposcopist/Gynaecology Oncology Nurse. This is a trainee role that will commence at a band 6 level, and we require a commitment to the training package.

The successful candidate will be part of a small, hard-working, and passionate gynaecology team running nurse-led clinics in fertility, colposcopy, urogynaecology, oncology, and early pregnancy. We offer induction, ongoing support, training, and development to all our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer and maintain a comprehensive service by seeing women, performing investigations and treatments as appropriate, and making clinical decisions in relation to best evidence-based practice.
  • Ensure safe clinical practice and confidentiality is carried out in the clinical environment as directed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), national, regional, and local protocols.
Person Specification
  • NMC registration with ongoing professional development.
  • Advanced communication skills, such as difficult conversations, conflict resolution, or counselling.
  • Demonstrates ability to place patients and family at the centre of care.
