Finance Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our client's team in East Kent. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing financial support and analysis to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and publish regular financial reports on operational data
  • Support the Finance Business Partners in the provision, analysis, and reporting of operational and commercial performance
  • Assist in the preparation of financial information for customer tenders, production of gross margin budgets and forecasts, and preparation of budgets
  • Improve the company's Business Intelligence and other reporting systems and processes, including data modelling and reporting in Power BI
  • Develop relationships across the business to understand their processes and reporting needs, proposing new reporting or improvements to existing reporting
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as required
Requirements:
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, and Power BI
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, able to present information clearly and concisely
  • Accounts department experience (3 years +)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy team
  • Experience of working to daily deadlines and prioritizing tasks
