Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Site Manager to lead our team on the Monklands Replacement Hospital Project. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of this complex project, ensuring timely completion within defined cost and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing multi-service projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. You will possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with peers across the Laing O'Rourke Group to deliver 'One Team for Real' behaviors.
  • Lead a project team to ensure successful delivery, influencing decision-making to suit project requirements.
  • Deliver consistent and reliable performance across all UK projects.
  • Utilize in-house specialist capabilities at every opportunity, creating a common understanding of collective strengths.
  • Challenging all aspects of our cost base to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness in delivery.
What We're Looking For:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A proven track record in major multi-service project delivery and project management.
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager or similar role with successful delivery models achieved for all stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Good understanding of MEP systems and integration into the building environment.
  • Strong team ethos and thorough commercial awareness.
Estimated Salary:

£70,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
