Account Receivable Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Receivable Analyst to join our team at Moove Europe. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sales ledger, managing customer accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales ledger records, ensuring timely receipt of payments from customers.
  • Coordinate the collection of overdue payments from customers, following our credit control process as necessary.
  • Correspond with customers via email and phone to chase payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Prepare and generate direct debit collections from customers.
  • Ensure invoice queries are followed up in a timely manner to avoid overdue debts.
  • Participate in weekly meeting calls with respective countries to ensure invoices are paid in accordance with due dates and that overdues are kept up to date.
  • Generate and send aged debt reports internally and respond to requests for further information.
  • Assist with accounts payable activities, including vendor master maintenance and control checks.
  • Maintain customer master data.
  • Assist in customer risk management, including the process and issuance of credit reports and enabling the setup of new customer limits.
  • Maintain credit limits for customers following our internal MDA process.
  • Monthly reporting for the Credit Insurance Company where applicable.
  • Support Customers/Sales Managers and Customer Services as needed.
  • Check held order lists daily, gaining authority to release any orders over customer credit limits.
  • Provide support/cover for the rest of the department as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Excel knowledge.
  • Credit control knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of invoice processing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of audit.
