At Semtech, we're seeking a seasoned semiconductor professional to drive the development of our automotive mixed-signal products. As an Automotive Mixed-Signal Product Development Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our products, from definition to production release.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Drive overall quality and compliance to requirements specifications throughout the product lifecycle">
  • Contribute to the development of automotive product and functional safety processes, providing input to QMS documentation">
  • Work with functional teams to deliver functional safety assessments and analysis, such as ASIL, fault tree, PPAP, DFMEA, TFMEA & FMEDA">
  • Own understanding of material fabrication process issues and variation correlation to reliability and performance parameters">
  • Drive NPI activities for manufacturability, including DFT, yield, COP, test coverage, limit setting, guard banding, and test releases">
  • Enable decisions on technology development or sourcing, including fab process, packaging, burn-in solutions">
  • Collaborate with test engineering to bring up product and test solutions, both onshore and at OSAT">
  • Capture and track performance against specs throughout the lifecycle">
  • Plan and execute production volume ramps and handover to sustaining team">
  • Resolve failure analysis, root cause, and corrective actions for field returns">
  • Review and optimize test limits and guard-banding">
  • Perform capability & margin analysis, correlation studies, and yield modeling on new products">
  • Coordinate manufacturing documentation for production transfer and product maintenance">

Your Qualifications

  • ">
  • BSc in a relevant engineering subject">
  • Ten years' experience working as a semiconductor product engineer, ideally in automotive mixed-signal products">
  • In-depth knowledge of related quality standards and systems, such as JEDEC, ISO-26262, AEC-Q100, and statistical analysis techniques like dPAT and SPC">
  • Understanding of wafer fabrication processes, including fab controls and monitors">
  • Working knowledge of ATE capabilities and technologies, such as Advantest 93k, for wafer probe and packaged products">

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
