Global Underwater Communications Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Global Underwater Communications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational support of our subsea network. This includes managing subsea network performance and operations, performing MA duties on Meta owned cable systems, and acting as O&M SME for contracting.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $200,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Remote work options are available.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 10 years of industry experience in subsea operations, deployments, and technology. You should also have hands-on experience with CLS tools and test equipment, managing landing party use and setup of equipment during repairs. A strong understanding of data driven analysis and experience providing technical guidance to external vendors are also essential. Additionally, you should have a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
