Job Title: Leasing Manager - Shopping Centres

**About the Role**

You'll work closely with the Head of Shopping Centre Leasing and the Leasing & Asset Management teams to lease a diverse portfolio of assets, helping us meet the evolving needs of occupiers while delivering strong returns for investors. Your responsibilities will include advising and leading on the delivery of the Leasing Strategy for a portfolio of assets, ensuring the Leasing Strategy and income initiatives are delivered on time and within budget, and developing and maintaining a wide range of retail customer relationships.

**What You'll Do**

* Advise and lead on the delivery of the Leasing Strategy for a portfolio of assets, working in close partnership with the Asset Management and Development teams.
* Ensure the Leasing Strategy and income initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
* Develop and maintain a wide range of retail customer relationships, through regular meetings, performance reviews, and identifying opportunities for growth.
* Work closely with British Land's customer insight team, analysing performance and affordability to inform the leasing strategy.
* Manage external teams, including leasing agents and lawyers, in achieving asset-level objectives.
* Manage a large number of concurrent income initiatives.
* Work closely with the Asset Management Team to develop and implement asset-level business plans.
* Regular communication and cooperation with Joint-Venture partners.
* Communication and collaboration with the retail team on business-wide initiatives.
* Ensure B2B marketing strategy aligns with leasing aspirations and remains on brand.

**About You**

We're looking for a confident, proactive, and hardworking individual with a good team player attitude and a positive approach. You'll be a self-starter who uses your own initiative, flexible, and able to deal with different levels of workload while remaining calm under pressure. You'll have good numeracy and analytical skills, a good understanding of the wider retail industry, and a proven track record of identifying opportunities to add value and delivering against targets of financial outperformance.
