We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Care Assistant to join our care team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Salary: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for older adults, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will be required to undertake a range of tasks, including assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment
