Nuclear Safety Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a Lead Nuclear Safety Specialist to join our Nuclear Safety and Regulation Department in Barrow-in-Furness. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist advice and services to the business on nuclear/radiological safety standards and compliance.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in radiological protection, waste management, and safety case development methodologies. They will be responsible for preparing and maintaining nuclear safety documentation, including safety cases and associated processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of major programmes of strategic and international importance. You will work closely with our team of nuclear safety specialists to provide essential nuclear safety support to these projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparing and maintaining nuclear safety documentation
  • Providing radiological protection advice
  • Promoting a strong nuclear safety culture through stewardship and leadership concepts

Salary: £60,000+ Depending on experience
