Job Summary:

Aeropeople Limited is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join their team in Birmingham. As an Avionics Fitter, you will be responsible for the removal, installation, and testing of avionics equipment on military aircraft.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled technician with experience in electrical and avionics work. You will be working on a 5/5/4 shift pattern, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Removing and stripping out avionics equipment
  • Installing complex wiring harnesses and modifying existing wiring within avionic shelves and panels
  • All aspects of electrical and avionics work, including wiring terminations and testing
  • Removing and installing various shelves, panels, and equipment
  • Loom manufacture and testing
  • Systems testing

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include an Annual Flexibility Bonus of £2,500, company pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free onsite parking, length of service awards starting at 2 years with cash rewards, and company sick pay.
