Production Operations Manager

About the Role:
Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our client's team in Tywyn, Wales. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities across the production units, ensuring optimal production performance, efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively promote a safety culture and ensure compliance with H&S requirements
Maintain standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
Involvement in the selection process for direct reports and responsible for their training and development
Ensure timely management of attendance, disciplinary, and performance management issues
Consistently achieve or exceed agreed performance targets
Requirements:
Background within a fast-moving manufacturing operation (FMCG) with some experience in the food industry
Leadership skills and proven success in team management
Ability to encourage and motivate team members to deliver the best performance
Results and continuous improvement focused with the ability to remain calm during periods of pressure
