Join Our Team as a Speciality Barista

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speciality Barista to join our team at FCB Coffee in Woking Station. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality coffee drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

About the Role

This is a part-time role requiring full flexibility, with a 12-hour contract per week. You will be working morning and evening shifts, including weekends. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions, and manage cash handling
  • Assist with food preparation, including baking and preparing pastries
Requirements
  • Up-to-date knowledge and genuine interest/passion for the coffee business
  • Barista skills and ability to free pour a variety of latte art consistently
  • Knowledge of hand-brew methods and desire to learn more
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to work at speed and under pressure
