Senior Charge Nurse

Join our team as a Senior Charge Nurse and lead transformational change in learning disability services.
This exciting opportunity is part of the Clacks and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership's Change Champion Team, working closely with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.
As a Senior Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading on transformational change, planning, and collaboration across the entire system to improve services and outcomes. You will work closely with the team to deliver innovative, quality services that are sustainable and truly person-centered.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning disability nursing, with evidence of post-registration training in areas relevant to this post. You will have proven leadership skills, with experience in clinical supervision, mentorship, and adult support and protection in learning disabilities.
This is a full-time, fixed-term or secondment opportunity for one year, with the possibility of extension. We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative nurse with a passion for leading change and improving services for adults with learning disabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on transformational change in learning disability services
- Work closely with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and opportunities
- Develop and implement innovative, quality services that are sustainable and person-centered
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with adult support and protection policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Strong background in learning disability nursing
- Evidence of post-registration training in areas relevant to this post
- Proven leadership skills with experience in clinical supervision and mentorship
- Knowledge of adult support and protection policies and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
