Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Control and Instrumentation Engineer to enhance our Operational Technology Team within the Asset Excellence division. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and safety in our wind generation operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engineering solutions that support the safe and efficient operation of wind generation assets.
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of control and instrumentation system hardware and software.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for remote asset monitoring and control.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of PLC operation, programming, and management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of communication protocols utilized in SCADA systems within the electricity generation sector.
  • Familiarity with wind farm internal network design and maintenance.
  • Awareness of current cyber security standards relevant to the industry.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to the electricity generation sector.
  • Ability to interpret O&M contracts and technical scopes effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex engineering concepts in layman's terms.
  • Proficient in drafting detailed technical documentation.
