Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our team at MM Wealth LTD. As a key member of our Financial Planning department, you will play a vital role in supporting our Chartered Financial Planners in delivering exceptional service to our high net worth clients.

Main Responsibilities

Client Support and Analysis

  • Collect and collate client information and data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
  • Collaborate with Chartered Financial Planners to develop comprehensive financial plans and strategies tailored to client needs and objectives.
  • Undertake comparative research, including calculations and cashflow modeling, to inform client recommendations.
  • Prepare suitability reports and recommendations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Ongoing Client Service

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work closely with Chartered Financial Planners to manage client review meeting dates and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Attend client meetings, take notes, and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other professional advisers, such as accountants and solicitors.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure the back-office system (CURO) is up-to-date, with accurate client reviews and new business reports.
  • Attend networking and professional development events to support business growth opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of performance, adhering to firm policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the firm's client-centric culture, recognizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex client data and financial information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of cashflow modeling and experience with Voyant Cashflow modeling, CURO back-office system, and AJ Bell Custody solutions (Figaro) is desirable.
