Product Category Manager

Resideo is seeking a Product Category Manager to drive the strategy and growth of our Intrusion product category. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing product mix and pricing models, identifying and cultivating supplier relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the Intrusion product category, including growth and promotional programs to achieve budget objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including identification, contract negotiation, product assortment, marketing programs, and communications.
  • Grow the product category profitably in line with gross margin targets, while adhering to working capital and IOS requirements.
  • Work with ADI EMEA leadership team to clearly communicate new opportunities, new products or suppliers, and resolve transactional issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with supplier partners, ADI's marketing, sales, and procurement teams to ensure effective product marketing and sales drive of your product category.
  • Develop and execute on product mix, inventory, and pricing strategies based on historical data, industry trends, and customer buying patterns.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a professional product/category manager in retail, e-tail/catalog, distribution, or similar environment.
  • Product marketing/category management experience.
  • Ability to provide strategic leadership, direction, and development.
  • Ability to support field sales with special pricing, inventory positions, vendor relations, and product issues.
