About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, working closely with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of equipment including boilers, water tanks, pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyors
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement new processes

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Apprentice trained
  • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices
