**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech Therapist to join our team in Surrey. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an SLT, with a strong understanding of the English education system and a proven track record of leading and supporting others.

The role involves clinical decision making in conjunction with school/college staff, assessment, advice, and intervention for children with speech, language, and communication needs, as well as supporting junior members of the team and line managing others.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with other colleagues to ensure a holistic and child-centered approach to identifying and meeting children and young people's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical decision making in conjunction with school/college staff around the level of support needed to achieve the best possible outcome for the children and young people
  • Assessment, advice, and intervention for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs within your caseload
  • Supporting junior members of the team, line managing others, and taking on students

About Us

The Surrey SLT service is a large team of both qualified therapists and non-qualified therapy assistants working in mainstream and specialist provisions through primary, secondary, and colleges.

We offer a comprehensive clinical supervision programme, extensive in-house and external training opportunities, access to clinical effectiveness groups, case study groups, enhanced probation support, termly whole-team study days, and more.

The salary for this position is £43,996 per annum, based on 36 hours per week across 42 weeks a year.
