About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Real Estate team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions and ensuring that client objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
  • Act as the key client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Scope of the Role

Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value, up to £40m in value. You will be responsible for advising at a strategic level, leading the establishment of success criteria, and planning for and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.

Project Management Responsibilities
  • Advising on different approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems.
  • Project planning, including ensuring the production of detailed project plans.
  • Advising on the procurement of resources.
  • Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Managing the change control process.
  • Monitoring and advising on project finances.
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client.
  • Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports.
Marketing and Business Development
  • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Identifying and acting on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • Attending formal client pitches.
  • Ensuring that project case study, photograph, and project CV files are kept up to date.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
