Vascular Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Vascular Laboratory, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and independently report on a full range of vascular investigations, including carotid artery duplex, upper and lower limb arterial and venous duplex, EVAR follow-up, pre-operative marking, and pre- and post-fistula assessment.
- Participate in one-stop consultant-led outpatient clinics, rapid access clinics, and support the TIA pathway.
- Contribute to the development of departmental strategic annual plans and support training initiatives.
- Take part in clinical research and audit, and take responsibility for your own continuing professional development.
- BSc or equivalent in a relevant science-based subject.
- Postgraduate qualification in vascular ultrasound.
- Significant years of experience in vascular duplex scanning and specialist non-imaging vascular investigations.
- Experience of clinical audit.
- Experience of research and development.
- Ability to speak Welsh.
