Spencer & James is seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reactive maintenance and be comfortable working on social housing projects.
The role will involve delivering reactive maintenance on social housing projects, including testing and inspections, and voids works. The successful candidate will be able to work independently to identify and address electrical system issues and be accountable for the quality and reliability of electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of electrical work, both indoors and outdoors, on residential and commercial properties.
- Work independently to identify and address electrical system issues.
- Be accountable for the quality and reliability of electrical installations.
- Must possess practical electrical skills and supervisory knowledge to handle installations and testing without direct supervision.
- Demonstrated competence in both domestic and commercial installations, with qualifications like City & Guilds 2391/2395.
- Ability to interpret drawings, determine materials, and take responsibility for job completion, including supervising others if needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with company rules.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction.
