Senior Infrastructure Engineer

MERITUS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering function, you will play a leading role in the design, build, and management of secure platforms and infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:- Design, build, and manage secure platforms and infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders to define project requirements and assist the delivery team in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to agreed specification.
- Mentor and assist junior engineers.
- Work within existing monitoring, observability, and security frameworks to achieve customer requirements.
- High level of experience in the design, build, and management of Windows or Linux infrastructure.
- Strong experience managing on-prem and VMware server environments.
- Automation using Power Shell, Bash, Shell, Python, or similar languages.
- Exposure to infrastructure design and automation.
- Active DV security clearance.
- Salary up to £80,000 (DOE)
- £5,000 bonus
- Up to 10% performance bonus
