The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join the M School at UAL as the Academic Quality and Enhancement Coordinator. This role will play a key part in the development and management of the new school, working closely with colleagues from the Fashion and Jewellery, Textiles & Materials Programmes, the Associate Dean of Quality, the College Quality team, and the college community.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong engagement with fashion, textiles, and design culture, relevant qualifications, and experience of academic leadership and quality and enhancement processes and procedures. You will be expected to have experience of managing teams, budgets, content, and complex activities in an HE setting. You will be creative and highly motivated, able to drive curriculum development and oversee quality assurance and student enhancement activities across a diverse range of disciplines.

Your Profile

  • You have experience of teaching and managing a team at Higher Education level, with subject knowledge relevant to the M School Programmes and Courses.
  • You have a PGCert (or equivalent) qualification, and previous experience of curriculum development and managing quality and student enhancement initiatives.
  • You are committed to improving the student experience.
  • You can communicate with a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way.
  • You are able to innovate and develop practical solutions to new or unique problems.
