We are seeking a skilled and motivated Culinary Professional to join our team at Rustington Convalescent Home.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food for cooking, reviewing menus, ordering supplies, monitoring food production, training staff, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare high-quality meals for guests
- Review menus and make recommendations for improvement
- Order food and supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent culinary skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure. You should also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
Please note that this is a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours per week. The salary for this role is £15.60 per hour, plus a 25% enhancement for weekend work.
