About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Phlo - Digital Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Generate dispensing labels using our computer systems
  • Assemble and label medicines
  • Refer enquiries and problems to the on-duty pharmacist
  • Liaise with courier drivers and Royal Mail reps to ensure correct packages are delivered
  • Receive and unload deliveries from wholesale suppliers
  • Gather, organise and assess patient information
  • Ensure items are stored at the correct temperatures and update control records
  • Ensure work space is clean, tidy and organised
  • Ensure all dispensing equipment is clean and maintained
  • Ensure prescriptions are filed correctly
  • Support the Pharmacist with ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 UK Dispensary Assistant Qualification
  • Highly comfortable using and adapting to various tech systems and processes
  • Experience working in a busy pharmacy
  • Experience in community pharmacy dispensing NHS prescriptions is desirable
  • Experience dispensing for an online pharmacy is desirable
  • Good understanding of the NHS prescription system
  • Knowledge of pharmacy PMR systems
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and working at pace
  • High attention to detail
  • Dedicated to the patient experience and customer care
  • DBS check compliant
  • Comfortable with shift and weekend working
