Job Summary

A Lead Contract Negotiator is required for a permanent position at Electus Recruitment Solutions in one of our UK locations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in law, business studies, engineering or science and a minimum year's commercial experience supporting contracts and/or sales environment. They will be able to review, draft and negotiate agreements including prime and subcontracts, NDAs, MOUs, teaming agreements and back-to-back subcontracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements including prime and subcontracts, NDAs, MOUs, teaming agreements and back-to-back subcontracts.
  • Leading the commercial governance process for bids that fall within your remit and holding the wider division to account aligned to the business approvals framework.
  • Managing a commercial team, providing formal and informal support and development to team members.

Requirements:

  • A degree in law/business studies/engineering/science/technology or similar at an equivalent qualification level.
  • Experience in sales and procurement commercial management, willing to work in both fields.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and draft contractual wording with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of negotiating complex contract terms with suppliers and/or clients.

Location: Bristol, Cheltenham, London, Manchester

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
