High Performance Coach and Fleet Manager

About the Role:

Oxford University Boat Club seeks a highly skilled High Performance Coach and Fleet Manager to join their coaching team. This individual will be responsible for delivering a rowing program to win The Boat Race and competing at the highest level year-round.

  • The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Development Coach, Facility, Fleet and Race Manager, with expertise in daily development coaching duties, managing the boat fleet, and facility management.
  • They will also be responsible for liaising with stakeholders, including the Boat Race Company, to ensure successful event administration.
  • This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-performance rowing program to win The Boat Race and compete at the highest level.
  • Manage the boat fleet, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee facility management, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for athletes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
