Job Title: SQL Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team at Axiom Software Solutions Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our databases and querying large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database structures, tables, indexes, and constraints to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Develop SQL scripts and queries for data migration, data maintenance, and data integration purposes.
  • Optimize database performance through troubleshooting, monitoring, and tuning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.
  • Ensure data security and integrity by implementing robust data protection measures.
  • Assist in the documentation of database processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong foundation in database management.
  • Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role in designing and maintaining SQL databases.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) with experience in database design, documentation, and coding.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex database issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
