Job Title: Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team at MMP Consultancy. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-inspections, building and stock condition surveys to identify defects and future investment requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pre-inspections and building surveys to identify defects and future investment requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure the appropriate remedial works are undertaken.
  • Ensure all planned, cyclical, and responsive repair works are valid and appropriate, provide value for money, and are completed within the allocated budget provision.
  • Undertake post-inspections of completed works to ensure quality, compliance with the Schedule of Rates, value for money, and statutory compliance.
  • Assist in the delivery of internal policies, procedures, and agreements to achieve value for money and increased resident satisfaction.
  • Follow our clients' Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure, as far as is practicable, your own safety and that of others in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Experience in surveying and building condition assessments.
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
