About the Role
This newly created position will oversee all legal matters in-house, ensuring compliance across business operations while providing strategic advice to support business objectives. The role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead the in-house legal function.

Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of post-qualification experience in the UK, preferably within private practice or an in-house counsel role. Key responsibilities include managing commercial contracts, data privacy, company secretarial duties, employment law, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with HR colleagues to provide guidance on employment-related matters.

Requirements
The company seeks a confident and experienced Commercial Lawyer who can work independently and advise on a variety of matters when needed. Strong technical knowledge of procurement contracts, company secretarial practices, GDPR regulations, and employment law is essential. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working flexibly, responding to changing priorities, and assessing time spent effectively.

What We Offer
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, free on-site parking, hybrid working arrangements, and access to a comprehensive benefits package.
