We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at Jewson, a leading supplier of building materials. As an Area driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to our customers in a designated area, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver building materials to customers in a designated area, ensuring timely and safe delivery
  • Load and unload building materials from vehicles, using manual handling equipment as required
  • Operate a vehicle mounted crane to lift and move building materials
  • Support team members as required, including loading and unloading vehicles
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with company standards

Requirements

  • A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
  • Previous experience as an HGV driver, preferably in a multidrop delivery role
