Job Title: SEN Tutor - Cirencester

Young Giants Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to join our team in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with learners who require additional support to access education.

About the Role:
  • Deliver one-to-one tuition to learners with SEN in a learner's home or venue within the community.
  • Work closely with our team to assess and maintain effective and needs-based programmes of education support.
  • Develop and implement creative learning plans to engage learners and promote academic development.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure consistency and high-quality education support.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or strong youth work experience/qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching or mentoring learners with SEND in schools, youth groups, or private settings.
  • Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update system or willingness to have one carried out at a cost of £53.20.
  • Commitment to the overall academic development of learners, including working to re-engage them in learning.
  • Ability to travel to the above location.
  • Secure understanding of safeguarding.
