Gain a solid foundation in livestock farming and technology with Skerntrainingandskills. As an Agricultural Livestock Technician Apprentice, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills in operating farm machinery, monitoring livestock, and providing accommodation for them.

You'll be based at Mount Folly Farm in South Devon, where you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting. With a full UK driving licence and own transport, you'll be able to travel to and from the farm independently.

We're looking for someone who is willing to learn and take initiative, with good planning and organisational skills. You should be physically fit and able to solve problems independently.

As part of this 15-month apprenticeship, you'll gain a Level 3 Livestock Technician qualification and functional skills in Maths and English if required. You'll also have opportunities for further training and development upon completion.

The salary for this position is £18,000-£22,000 per annum, depending on experience. The working week is flexible on a rota system, with hours varying between 30-40 per week.
