Senior Cyber Project Manager Role

Albany Beck is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead high-stakes projects with a leading Investment Bank in London. This strategic role drives large-scale cyber remediation and regulatory initiatives, ensuring the bank's cyber defense posture while adhering to evolving regulations.

You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects safeguarding operations, clients, and reputation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end large, multi-stream cybersecurity remediation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure successful project delivery aligned with regulatory mandates (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, MAS) on time and within budget.
  • Work alongside CISO, compliance, risk, and audit teams to ensure project objectives are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Serve as primary liaison with regulators and external auditors, ensuring transparency, compliance, and timely delivery of requirements.
  • Drive governance processes, track project performance, and provide regular status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Apply industry best practices and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for efficient and effective project delivery.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, specifically in cybersecurity and regulatory programs within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements impacting financial institutions.
  • Proven experience delivering complex cyber remediation and regulatory projects globally.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management at senior levels, including C-suite and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to attract top talent for this pivotal role.
